Meghan Markle travelled to the UK with her children last week, joining Prince Harry in his home country. The 44-year-old, who has not been to the UK since 2022, was present for a meeting with King Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House on July 10.
Although he has seen his son numerous times since his move to the US in 2020, the King was finally able to reunite with his two youngest grandchildren for the first time in four years. The meeting was held in private, with no further details and pictures being released to the public.

The only information that has been released is that the meeting is said to have lasted around one hour, just hours after Meghan and her children arrived in the UK.
It has been reported that Meghan is said to have been “humiliated” after her recent visit to the UK after it was overshadowed by security and accommodation issues.
The Mirror’s royal editor Russell Myers recently told People that the visit “turned into a nightmare” after security concerns allegedly forced Meghan, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to return to California earlier than expected.
Although Archie and Lilibet have now spent some time with their paternal grandfather, it has now been reported that Meghan’s estranged father is said to feel “devastated” to hear that the King has had a chance to see his grandchildren – but he has not.
Meghan has been estranged from Thomas Markle since her wedding to Harry in 2018. The 81-year-old became entangled in scandal after being caught apparently colluding with a photo agency to stage pictures of himself preparing for the royal wedding – which led to the collapse in his relationship with his youngest daughter.

Thomas underwent a three-hour operation back in December to remove his left foot and lower leg after a circulation issue turned the limb black and blue.
He then spend an extended period of time in hospital in the Philippines, with it reported at the time that Meghan had reached out to her father via a letter.
Having not been in contact with his daughter for eight years, Thomas has never met Prince Harry and his grandchildren.
