Meghan Markle has been confirmed to be joining Prince Harry in the UK next month, with their children also thought to be travelling with them. Harry is travelling to attend the one-year countdown for the 2027 Invictus Games, which will take place in Birmingham next summer.

Whilst her husband attends the event, it remains unclear whether Meghan will join him. Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, will reportedly be kept out of the spotlight during the visit.

Meghan and their children have not travelled to Britain since 2022, with Harry previously stating that he “couldn’t see a world” in which he could bring his family back to the UK due to a lack of security.

During the family’s trip, Wimbledon will be taking place, with Meghan having previously attended a few matches during her time as a working royal.

She was pictured alongside Princess Catherine at the women’s singles final in July 2019, just weeks after giving birth to Archie.

Meghan also attended Wimbledon during the summer of 2018, just months after marrying Prince Harry in Windsor.

The final Wimbledon matches will take place on July 12, two days after the Invictus Games countdown event.

The family are thought to be flying to the UK from California during the first weekend in July, and are reportedly set to stay in Britain for a week.

The King has reportedly offered Harry and Meghan a royal residence to stay at during their visit, though it is unknown whether the couple has accepted or declined the offer.

The couple’s last visit to the UK together was in September 2022, during which they attended the late Queen’s funeral.
