Piers Morgan has laid into Sir Keir Starmer after he officially left Downing Street today after two years as Prime Minister. Starmer today met with the King to formally resign, making way for Andy Burnham to take over as Prime Minister.
Taking to X, Piers Morgan claimed Sir Keir was “forced out”. He wrote: “Keir Starmer doing another victory lap outside No10 after being forced out after just 2yrs, citing all his supposed successes, is preposterous.” This is not the first time Piers Morgan has shared his thoughts on Starmer. Morgan reacted to UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s resignation, calling the politician “the man with no plan”.

A new survey by Opinium found only one in five voters thinks Sir Keir’s government was a success, while 69% say it was not.
Two years after Sir Keir led Labour to a general election victory over the Conservative party led by Rishi Sunak, two in five voters say he has actually been a worse Prime Minister, and just 25% think his government turned out to be an improvement.
“He managed to take an enormous majority, and then it turned out he had no plan. He was the man with no plan,” Morgan told the hosts of Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” Monday.
“The first few things that he did were appalling. He attacked the pensioners. He attacked the farmers. He attacked pretty much every constituent in the country with new taxes and so on.”

“He lost control of everything. This was a guy with no big ideas, no concept of how to galvanise Britain and restore us to greatness,” Morgan added.
“He turned out to be — and this is not a rude word so I can say it — but he turned out to be an absolute clinker, and a clinker is something you never want to be in life.”
In his final speech at Downing Street, Starmer called it the “privilege of my life” to serve in the role as Prime Minister and wished Andy Burnham “every success”.
Burnham has pledged to make politics “work better” in his first speech as the UK’s seventh prime minister in a decade, adding Britain must “regain our stability.
