The days of Reform polling around 30% seem a long time ago don’t they? If you were in any doubt about that being the party’s peak, that surely is cast aside now. Now, it feels like their ceiling is 25%, after months of controversy surrounding the party and its leader Nigel Farage.
As questions continue to swirl around his crypto tycoon backers, £5m gift and security arrangements, Farage decided to distract everyone by stepping down as an MP last week.
Well, if he hoped this would result in a surge in support for him and his party, he was mistaken.
The latest YouGov polling has seen the party suffer a one point drop in support, down to 24%.
