Prince William is reportedly refusing to acknowledge Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and is continuing with duties as if they don’t exist.

Prince William is reportedly taking a rather unique approach to the issue of Harry and Meghan. The heir has a frosty relationship with his younger brother, and the two haven’t seen each other since their uncle’s funeral in 2024. However, the King is reportedly eager for his two sons to mend their relationship. While Harry has been vocal about his relationship with William over the past few years, making revelations in his memoir Spare and his and Meghan’s Netflix series, his older brother has remained silent, even though he is reportedly highly unimpressed by Harry’s actions since leaving the Royal Family.
An insider told Closer that William is “refusing” to reconcile with Harry, and that he’s actually just pretending he’s not even there. “He’s stopped complaining about Harry and Meghan and is now acting like they don’t even exist instead,” the source said.
“The courtiers are trying to get them together to talk about doing some sort of tribute to Diana, and Harry is all for it, but William has refused. It’s not just Harry and Meghan that William is disrespecting; he’s openly going against the King’s wishes by continuing to act as though Harry and Meghan are banished when they’re clearly right there at his doorstep.”
Harry and Meghan are reportedly working on a project to honour the late Princess Diana, something that William strongly disagrees with. William has been offered similar opportunities, but he has turned them down.

The source added: “Harry made no secret of his interest in doing some sort of film or TV series about their mother in honour of the coming anniversary, and it will be a terrible look if it’s done without any input from William. Almost everyone agrees they should be putting on a united front, not least because it’s what the King wants.
“But William is immovable, to the point where people are feeling like they’re being forced to pick William or Charles’ side, and a lot of people are afraid to make the wrong choice and end up out of a job. That may sound dramatic, but the reality is emotions are running very high.”

“There is a sense, especially with William, that he’s keeping score, and you are either with him or against him. That’s how intense this is for him,” they added.
A royal expert recently issued an update on the “sad” nature of Prince William and Prince Harry’s current relationship. Royal reporter and broadcaster Simon Vigar told GB News: “I can’t see the rift with the family, particularly with William and Catherine; it’s obviously never going to go back to the way it was, which is terribly sad.”
He added: “If they were to come back, which I don’t see happening anytime soon, and share the load once William and Catherine are on the throne, maybe then, but I don’t think Harry wants it, and I’m pretty sure Meghan doesn’t want to, and I don’t think they care.”
Andy Burnham accused of ‘inciting disorder’ as 781 migrants cross Channel in single day
Andy Burnham is accused of inciting disorder after a record 781 migrants crossed the Channel in one day, while Reform UK warns numbers are accelerating.

Andy Burnham has been accused of inciting disorder across the country because of the way his Government is handling the migration crisis.
It comes after his administration suffered its worst day on record, with 781 illegal migrants breaking into the country in unlawful Channel crossings in a single day.
The record-breaking influx also saw two boats arrive on UK shores undetected, sparking fury in Westminster and triggering threats of protests at migrant sites.
Horrendous footage and pictures, seen in Thursday’s Daily Express, also show what appears to be a man abandoning a child in the water so he can climb aboard a crowded dinghy.
Reform UK’s Shadow Home Secretary Zia Yusuf warned that numbers were “accelerating” despite Home Office claims that the overall total had reduced.
He told Good Morning Britain that the UK has had “north of 210,000 people turn up on our beaches illegally in the past eight years” and warned “people’s lives are being turned upside down”.
Those comments were in relation to the village of Piddington, which recently hosted a symbolic referendum to leave the UK in protest against the housing of migrants at a nearby base.
Mr Yusuf said residents “are terrified that they are about to be outnumbered 10 to 1 by illegal migrant men”.
Home Office data shows a decline in the number of crossings this year, but critics say the overall figure remains far too high, with an insufficient number of people being sent back to their countries of origin.

In a scathing attack on the Prime Minister, Mr Yusuf said: “Andy Burnham is inciting disorder in Britain by wielding the state’s monopoly on violence to impose unvetted men from countries like Afghanistan, Syria and Eritrea into local communities.”
He added: “This is unprecedented. I am worried the country is heading to a dark place.”
His remarks refer to footage showing coaches used to transfer migrants from the coast to immigration centres being accompanied by a police escort.
There have been mounting protests by masked men near locations used to hold migrants, though police support for security reasons is not uncommon.
