Henry Nowak’s killer Vickrum Digwa bleats over human rights in Monster Mansion jail.TA
Lying, knife-obsessed Digwa is moaning he’s worried about being housed in one of Britain’s most infamous prisons.
Murdering racism liar Vickrum Digwa, who was sentenced to life stabbing to death 18-year-old Henry Nowak, is claiming his human rights are being abused because he’s been caged in Britain’s ‘Monster Mansion’ prison. Digwa, 23, was sentenced in June for the murder of student Henry, who he brutally knifed before lying to police that the teenager had racially attacked him. Henry was handcuffed by officers as he lay dying on the floor as Digwa, who did not know the youngster, continued his brazen sick lie.
Henry repeatedly told officers he could not breathe and that he had been stabbed before he lost consciousness after the attack in Southampton in December last year. Digwa, who a court heard was obsessed with weapons, had used a 21cm, 8-inch, blade to knife innocent Henry who was walking home from a night out. After sentencing last month the killer was sent to HMP Frankland in County Durham, a jail dubbed ‘Monster Mansion’ because of infamous inmates caged there such as killer cop Wayne Couzens and serial rapist and killer Levi Bellfield.

Now it’s emerged that Digwa has had the gall to claim his human rights are being abused being sent to the jail because he thinks he could become a target for other inmates. Double child-killer Ian Huntley was fatally attacked in the prison last year.
According to The Sun, desperate Digwa wants to move from high-security Frankland to a Category B prison and the cowardly killer is refusing to leave his cell on his own.
A source told The Sun: “Everything gets taken to him, including his food. He won’t step foot on the wing because he knows what’s coming. He asked to be put in segregation whilst his transfer request was being considered.
“He said his human rights were being breached because he wasn’t allowed contact with his father and brother. He thought a move to a Cat B prison would see those restrictions lifted, but his request has been rejected.”
The paper reports so far Digwa’s pleas have been rejected as “baseless”, but the prison now gives him four guards as an escort whenever he leaves his cell for exercise.
A Prison Service Spokesperson said: “This prisoner is being managed within the prison estate in line with the severity of the heinous offences for which he was convicted.”
HMP Frankland is a Category A prison in County Durham. It is home to some of the nation’s most dangerous killers and sex offenders.
Inmates include Wayne Couzens, the former Met Police officer, who murdered Sarah Everard. Couzens shares the corridors of the jailed with serial killer and rapist Levi Bellfield.
Prisoners held at Frankland are over 21 with a sentence of four years of more, serving life, or who have been deemed high-risk.
