Royal fans have urged Prince William to not forgive his brother just days before Prince Harry‘s return to the UK. The once-close brothers have been estranged for some time, with tensions escalating further after Harry’s exit from royal life and his verbal attacks on family members.

On a recent episode of Daily Expresso, host JJ Anisiobi said that William is unlikely to lower his guard and attempt to reconcile with Harry, citing the future King as someone who is “known to hold a grudge”. Following the comment, royal fans were asked to vote in a poll, which ran from 7.35am on June 30 to 9.30am on July 2, whether they think William should forgive Harry.

Of the 6,092 people who voted, a staggering 5,598 said he should not forgive his brother, whilst 416 said they felt he should lower his guard.

An additional 78 people voted that they were unsure what William should do regarding his brother and their ongoing feud.

Taking to the comment section, one fan wrote: “I would not forgive him. The junk he put in his book against the family wasn’t enough; he had to cause a problem. He can’t make it in California, so now he wants to come home. Has he ever even apologised? NO!”

Another added: “If I were in William’s position, I would not forgive my brother for all he’s said and done.”

A third added: “You cannot make amends with someone who you absolutely cannot trust.”

One fan has shared that William should forgive his brother for the sake of their father, adding: “Realise Harry’s no angel, but William should think about forgiving Harry for Charles’ sake! It looks like Charles wants a relationship with Harry, and once time is gone, you can’t get it back!”

Harry is set to return to the UK next week. His security report, read by ITV News on Wednesday, showed major terrorist threats.

Meghan Markle could be set to join her husband and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
