Explosive email claims Andrew ‘had consensual sex with Epstein’s colleague’

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor had “consensual sex” with an employee of Jeffrey Epstein, according to a close associate of the late US financier. The private message was released in the latest batch of files released by US legislators.

Documents also suggest that Epstein was warned to distance himself from the King’s brother in 2015. Journalist Landon Thomas Jr, with whom Epstein, a deceased multi-millionaire paedophile financier, seemed to have a close relationship, urged him to “address” the scandal surrounding the then Prince Andrew head-on.

He wrote that “in the end he had consensual sex with” someone who worked for Epstein. It is not clear whether this is a reference to Andrew’s accuser, Virginia Giuffre.

Andrew has consistently and vigorously denied all allegations made against him.

Epstein emailed Mr Thomas, suggesting that his reputation had “taken a hit”, and passed on a draft potential statement that he was considering releasing. In an email headed ‘How are you holding up?’ from January 16, 2015, Mr Thomas replied: “I think the big issue is separating yourself from Andrew.

“I mean I can see why a statement might help in some way – but its Andrew (not clinton and the rest) that is keeping the story alive.

“Until you are able to come forward and address that the story lives on.

“I mean in the end he had consensual sex with [redacted] And [redacted] worked for you.”

He added: “The rest is atmospherics. You have moved on! People don’t know that and cant accept that unless you say as much.” (sic)

Mr Thomas said yesterday that Epstein never told him that Ms Giuffre – who died by suicide earlier this year – had sex with Andrew, the MailOnline reported.

He claimed that he was just repeating what he had read about the accusations in the news media.

It comes after King Charles III stripped Andrew of his “prince” title in October.

The late Queen Elizabeth II’s second son will move out of Royal Lodge in Windsor, where it was revealed he had been living, paying a peppercorn rent.

He is now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
