Nigel Farage’s Reform conference speech was disrupted by successive left-wing protests during his speech this afternoon, as the party’s Birmingham summit descended into chaos.
Mr Farage was delivering his second conference speech of the day when the disruption hit, having avoided any interuptions during his first outing.
The shouts from the audience could not be heard, but they were swiftly drowned out by both the audience and Mr Farage himself.
As they were dragged out by security, Mr Farage shouted: “Boring! Boring! Boring!”
He also quipped: “She looked like she’d been on the sauce all afternoon!”

As another protester was dragged out, the Reform UK leader added: “Go easy! She’s clearly got some anger management issues! In fact, she looks like one of the democrats I faced on Capitol Hill the other day!”
One of those dragged out was reported to have been shouting “shouted “f*** the fascists” and “tax the rich”, while another yelled: “you’re fascists and racists!”
Mr Farage’s first speech of the day avoided protesters, possibly because it had been moved at short notice to an earlier time slot due to the resignation of Angela Rayner.
The group, representing Stand Up To Racism and the National Education Union, chanted “Say it loud, say it clear: refugees are welcome here!”
The police kettled them in an area away from the venue itself.
